CAIRO, AUGUST 1 (SEE) Egyptian Football Association (EFA) board member Magdi Abdelghani confirmed on Wednesday that Mexican coach Javier Aguirre has officially become Egypt's new football team manager.

He added that Aguirre will receive $120,000 per month including two foreign assistants.

Aguirre was hired to take over Egypt's first football team, replacing Hector Cooper, after the World Cup's failure.

Aguirre has been coaching Mexico and Japan and a number of Spanish clubs, most notably Atletico Madrid.
