Head of Grand Egyptian Museum (GEM) Atef Moftah welcomed a group of major investors from Japan. The delegation was headed by Mr. Kanazawa Kiyokyo, owner of the Japanese company Titan Capital, who is known as a leading real estate firm in Japan.
Other members of the delegation included Mr. Niwa Kishiro, the executive director of the company and an expert in real estate development in Japan, and Mrs. Kanazawa Mao, a member of the board of directors.
The purpose of the meeting was to discuss possible investment opportunities in the surrounding area and within the GEM. Kanazawa's company includes 15 diverse companies, including real estate developers, banks, and companies specializing in hotel management and hospitality facilities.
The delegation came to Egypt to search for investment opportunities in various fields in the New Administrative Capital and other places for investment in Egypt.
During the meeting, Moftah presented an overview of the GEM and the latest developments in the surrounding area. He also shared the state’s vision of developing the region as the tourist capital of Egypt and connecting the GEM and the Pyramids Plateau area with a tourist walkway. The delegation took an inspection tour inside the museum and appreciated the efforts made to complete this great edifice, which provides great investment opportunities.
In turn, Kanazawa expressed his desire to hold an international ceremony inside the museum, which would include international symbols.
