US Central Command announced on Sunday that ISIS leader Abu Osama al-Muhajir was killed in eastern Syria on July 7, Sky News reported.
In February 2022, the United States announced that leader of “ISIS” Abu Ibrahim al-Hashemi al-Qurashi was killed in a military operation in northwestern Syria, less than 3 years after he took over the leadership of the organization.
The raid targeted al-Qurashi in the northern countryside of Idlib, about 15 miles from the village of Barisha, where al-Baghdadi was killed.
