Israeli Opposition Leader: Netanyahu's Government Endangers Security of Tel Aviv

The Israeli opposition leader, Yair Lapid, said that the militias of the leader of the "Religious Zionism" party, Bezalel Smotrich, want to burn "Huwara", a Palestinian district in the West Bank,

to blow up the summit of Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and his Defense Minister Yoav Gallant in "Aqaba" in Jordan.

Lapid, leader of the Yesh Atid party and former prime minister, said that this Israeli government is dangerous to Israel's security, referring to the actions of the Israeli extreme right, represented by Minister of Internal Security Itamar Ben Gvir, and Minister of Finance Bezalel Smotrich.

Earlier, two Israeli settlers were killed in a shooting attack in the town of Hawara, after a massacre committed by the Israeli occupation forces in the Old City of Nablus last Wednesday, which resulted in the death of 11 Palestinians, including two elderly people, and the injury of about 100 others. Some of them were seriously injured.

Settlers have been attacking the cities and villages of Nablus since yesterday afternoon, burning several homes and cars, and injuring at least 100 Palestinians, which prompted the Palestia\nian Presidency to condemn the settler attacks and hold the Israeli government responsible for these attacks.

The occupation forces prevented ambulances from reaching Hawara, two Palestinian Civil Defense vehicles were destroyed and two Palestinian officers were attacked.
