As the Israeli raids on Gaza City, north of the devastated Palestinian strip, continues, Israeli Defense Minister Yisrael Katz declared Tuesday that "Gaza is burning," adding that the Israeli military is striking hard at Hamas's infrastructure.
He also indicated in a statement that "the army is fighting to create the conditions for recovering the hostages and defeating Hamas."
He also stressed that Israeli forces will not retreat until the mission in Gaza is completed.
Noteworthy, US Secretary of State Marco Rubio confirmed, upon leaving Tel Aviv, that Hamas has a very short period to accept a ceasefire.
