Israeli forces issued new evacuation orders today for residents in several areas of Khan Younis governorate in southern Gaza, as military operations in the besieged territory intensify.

According to local sources, the evacuation orders targeted residents in the towns of Khuza’a, Abasan al-Kabira, and Abasan al-Jadida, instructing them to leave their homes immediately and relocate to the coastal area of Al-Mawasi, which has been designated by Israel as a "humanitarian zone."

Earlier in the day, similar orders were also issued for neighborhoods in eastern Gaza City, including Al-Zaytoun, Al-Shuja’iya, and Al-Tuffah, as Israeli military operations expand in both the north and south of the strip.

Since the resumption of its military campaign in Gaza on March 18, Israeli forces have reportedly killed 1,522 Palestinians and wounded 3,834 others, according to local health authorities. The majority of the casualties have been women and children.

The evacuation orders come amid worsening humanitarian conditions and growing international concern over the continued displacement of civilians. Rights organizations have warned that repeated forced evacuations and the lack of safe zones in Gaza risk further endangering civilian lives in violation of international humanitarian law.
