Egyptian actress Menna Shalaby was slated to make her stage debut in the play "Saaa El Haz".
It also stars Sherif Salama, Mohamed Shaheen, Mohamed Radwan, and Sama Ibrahim.
"Forsa Saida" was written and directed by Ashraf Zaki.
The play was scheduled to make its debut on December 22, within the activities of Riyadh season, in Saudi Arabia.
However, the date was moved up which unabled Shalaby from appearing on stage due to being busy with her upcoming Ramadan 2023 series.
The play has been rescheduled to a later date.
In a statement on Monday, Zaki addressed the circulating rumors claiming that Shalaby was replaced by Ghada Adel.
The claims were fueled further after Shalaby showed her support for Adel on social media.
Zaki noted that Adel will star in a play "Forsa Saida" that will feature the cast of "Saaa El Haz" and be directed from a different script.
Adel is scheduled to travel to Saudi Arabia in a week.
