Saeed Khatibzadeh, the spokesman for Iran's Foreign Ministry, responded today, Monday, to the Saudi Arabia Kingdom's request to join talks regarding the nuclear agreement between Iran and five permanent members of the United Nations (UN) Security Council and Germany.

The Iranian diplomat added that his country sees that the kingdom couldn't join the talks without supporting foreign powers moreover that Saudi Arabia adheres to a special stance against the nuclear agreement.

He claimed that Riyadh played a destructive role to thwart the nuclear agreement in 2015.

Zadeh assured that the agreement is closed to the signatories only so it is impossible to join any new parties to it.

He went on to say that Iran recommends the kingdom to return to the regional dialog and Tehran then welcomes any Saudi initiatives.

He warns that the Saudi stance toward the nuclear agreement is conspicuous and non-constructive so Iran calls Riyadh for relinquishing that stance.

On the other hand, the Iranian official pointed out that his country is ready to welcome a Saudi tendency to participate in a regional dialog.

Regarding the European path, Zadeh explained that Tehran hopes that France moves in a constrictive manner and returns to honor her obligations under the nuclear agreement.

He revealed that Europeans failed to implement their commitments along with the United States of America (USA).

He urges the European to follow the straight path toward the agreement as it is the easiest way.

Zadeh made it clear that Tehran won't accept to return to the nuclear agreement step-by-step as some government suggests.

He affirmed that Iran is going to present to tomorrow's meeting in Vienna all sanctions that the USA should lift soon.

However, Saudi's Foreign Minister Prince Fayal Bin Farhan, interviewed    US CNN network and talked about the chances of holding dialog between the kingdom and Iran and the possibilities of developing the dual ties between the two countries.

The Saudi minister said that he is convinced that his country should participate in the upcoming talks on the nuclear agreement lest Iran acquires an atomic arsenal.
