Egypt's Ministry of Immigration and Egyptian Expatriates Affairs has managed earlier Wednesday to bring Egyptians workers of Suez Canal Container Terminal (SCCT) back home from Morocco, before the flights' suspension decision, due to come into force tomorrow, Thursday.

On her part, Immigration Minister Nabila Makram said that she had received a request from eight Egyptians who are working in Morocco to facilitate their return back to their homeland, before the suspension decision.

"Immediately I had contacted Ashraf Ibrahim, Egypt's ambassador to Morocco to coordinate the return of these workers, and to finish all necessary procedures," she added.

Moreover, the immigration minister thanked Mohamed Manar, Civil Aviation Minister, for his quick response and his efforts to allocate a number of seats in the plane returning from Morocco today's dawn after EgyptAir provided all the facilities so that workers were able to book their airline tickets at the required time.

The SCCT board of directors and its employees expressed their gratitude and appreciations towards Makram's sincere efforts to return the company teamwork from the brotherly country of Morocco.

It is worth mentioning that the SCCT inked a partnership with Maersk-subsidiary APM Terminals (APMT) to implement a project in Morocco.
