Liverpool star Mohamed Salah has confirmed his love for his country through his official twitter page on Tuesday.
"However much they try to change my love for Egypt and the Egyptians, they will not succeed," Salah wrote on his official twitter page.

Egypt did not vote in the Best Fifa Football Awards, however, they had a right to vote through Egypt's captain and the Pharaohs head coach.
Earlier, the Normalization Committee of the Egyptian Football Association opened an investigation in Egypt’s vote in the Best Fifa Football Awards. EFA sent an inquiry to FIFA about its vote which was not taken into consideration.
The EFA said that it had officially sent Egypt’s vote to FIFA on August 15, four days before the expiry of the deadline. Four days later Fifa confirmed receiving Egypt’s vote.

Liverpool’s goalkeeper Alisson Becker followed the footsteps of his coach Jurgen Klopp by being chosen as the Best FIFA Men’s Goalkeeper of the Year 2019, while head coach Jurgen Klopp has been named as the Best FIFA Men’s Coach of the Year 2019 at the glittering ceremony of the 2019 Best FIFA Football Awards, currently held in Milan.
