High Edu. ministry measures cognitive skills of medicine students

SEE - August 15th: The high education ministry hosted today for the first time a central competition of united electronic exam, applied according to the international standards, for 637 third year medicine student in universities of Ain shams, ElMansoura, 6 October, and Armed forces college.

The competition which took place via video conference was implemented in cooperation with Microsoft and GamaLearn, and aimed to measure the cognitive skills for students and the degree to which they had benefited from their studies along the first three years at university.

The competition also aimed to examine the critical thinking and the students’ skills in solving problems and facing difficult situations that need analysis and planning.

The student who win will receive financial prizes.

The High Education Minister Dr. Khaled Abd- ElGhaffar stated that this exam was designed in a way to accurately measure the capabilities of the student without any human interference, which in turn enhance the transparency of the whole process.
