Nowadays, Egypt’s Heliopolis district is getting into the Christmas spirit.
Heliopolis district has a vibrant history of celebrating Christmas Eve in a colorful way. The pomp and glamor of the time are witnessed across the iconic district in every place, and every corner celebrates the festivity at its best.
While driving and strolling around the El-Korba historic region, one will notice a variety of Christmas glamorous lights decorating the street’s median, cafes as well as ancient buildings.
During the last two weeks, the district authorities and residents have decorated a section of the district’s main squares in front of the iconic houses.
The shimmering lights, traditional treats of old bakeries in the Roxy quarter, and “Shawrima” from famous Heliopolis restaurants.
Liberty Mall, a famous shopping hub in El-Korba, is also lit up with lights, selling different Christmas souvenirs, trees, and accessories for home decoration.
