On Tuesday, Renowned Egyptian archaeologist Zahi Hawass met in Cairo with Ambassador Aamir Shouket of Pakistan. During the meeting, the two discussed shared priorities related to the protection and preservation of archaeological and cultural heritage in both Egypt and Pakistan.
Dr. Hawass, former Egyptian Minister of Tourism and Antiquities and one of the world’s most respected figures in the field of archaeology, exchanged insights with Ambassador Shouket on heritage conservation strategies, capacity-building, and international collaboration in safeguarding ancient treasures.
