English singer-actor Harry Styles has left the upcoming remake of the silent horror movie “Nosferatu“, starring Anya Taylor-Joy.

A representative for Styles confirmed the news and disclosed he had dropped the project over scheduling concerns.

The remake reunites Taylor-Joy with director Robert Eggers, who helmed her 2015 smash hit movie “The Witch”.

“Nosferatu”, which was released in 1922, is loosely adapted from Bram Stoker’s famous novel “Dracula“.

The project was first announced in 2015, just after the premiere of “The Witch” at the Sundance Film Festival.

The movie has been in development for six years; it was suspended in the middle for Eggers to shoot “The Lighthouse” and the Viking drama “The Northman”.

Meanwhile, Styles is set to release his new single "As It Was" on Friday, ahead of his forthcoming album "Harry’s House".
