Hannah El Zahed and Karim Abdel Aziz's "El Basha" to Be Staged in KSA on December 25

Egyptian stars Hannah El Zahed and Karim Abdel Aziz's upcoming play "El Basha" is set to be staged from December 25 to January 1 at the Bakr Al-Sheddi Theater in Boulevard Riyadh City.

The cast also stars Heidy Karam, Wizo, Hatem Salah, and more.

"El Basha" hails from director Ahmed El Gendy and marks the first collaboration between El Zahed and Abdel Aziz. It is set to debut within the activities of the 5th edition of the Riyadh Season in Saudi Arabia.

The play's official synopsis reads: " An exciting comedic journey that tells the story of Abu AlMaati AlBasha and his simple family, who live together in a modest room on the roof of an old building. Their lives change when they move to the villa of billionaire Laila Alsayyad, to face a series of sarcastic social paradoxes. Will they stand up to the challenges of new luxury? Will their family bond endure, or will everything change?."

In February 2023, El Zahed made her last theatrical appearance in the play "Memo,” staged at the Riyadh season, in Saudi Arabia. 

Abdel Aziz presented in his last theatrical production "Sinbad" at the 2nd edition of the New Alamein Festival in North Coast, Egypt, on August 22.
