Defending Champions Denmark followed Argentina to a perfect record in Group D as they crushed DR Congo 39-19 in their second World Championship game on Sunday to qualify for the main round with one match to spare in their group.

Denmark were dominant from the outset as they have the upper hand during the first half with 23-10 win as Johan P Hansen netted eight goals in the match.

The match was held in Cairo Stadium Sports Hall in the presence of Egypt's Youth and Sports minister Ashraf Sobhi and IHF chairman Hassan Mostafa.

Both teams were pooled in Group D, alongside Argentina and Bahrain.

Denmark will face off Argentina in the next round, while DR Congo will take on Bahrain.
