Gold Prices Stabilize, 21 Karat at 752 Pounds

Local market of gold saw a stable level of prices after a wave of retreats over the last few days.

The price of an ounce also stabilities in the world exchange of gold.

Eid Youssef, Head of the Branch of Gold at the Chamber of Commerce on Minofya Governorate, said that the local market has witnessed a state of stable as a gram of 21 karat is traded at 753 pounds, meanwhile, an ounce of the same karat was traded at $ 1713 in the world exchange.

Youssef added that 24 karat was traded in the local market at 860 pounds and a gram of 18 karat was traded at 645 pounds, and the gold pound was traded at 6010 pounds.

Head of Gold Branch at the Chamber of Commerce in Minofya Governorate, pointed out that sales in the local market enjoyed slight growth over Mother’s Day season, especially items of light weight range 2.5-3 grams.
