Gold Prices Increase Slightly, 21-Karat at EGP 1060

Gold prices increased slightly in the local markets by EGP 10 during Wednesday morning trading.

This came amid the gold markets’ anticipation of the Central Bank of Egypt (CBE) decision, regarding interest rates, which will have an impact on the trading movement.

Said Imbabi, Executive Director of the “i-Sagha” said that gold prices declined in the local markets, adding that the 21 karat gold recorded EGP 1060, and the ounce of gold price recorded $ 1816.

Moreover, he added the 24 karat gold is sold at EGP 1212, the 18 karat recorded at EGP 909, and the gold pound recorded at EGP 8480.
