Gold prices rose in the local markets at the beginning of today's trading due to the rise in the ounce price on the global stock exchange recording $ 1855.
Lotfi Munib, Deputy Head of the General Division of Gold and Jewelery at the General Federation of Chambers of Commerce, said that gold prices rose by EGP 40, in the local markets compared to yesterday’s prices, 21 karat gold is sold at EGP1075.
He added, that the 24 karat gold EGP 1229 , the 18 karat recorded EGP 922, the gold pound recorded EGP8600.
