Gold prices decreased slightly in local markets in a week, with a slight drop in the ounce of gold price in the global stock exchange.and the week witnessed the US Federal Reserve’s decision to keep interest rates near zero.
Amir Rizk, a member of the Gold Division of the Cairo Chamber of Commerce, said that gold prices decreased by about 4 pound in the local market over the week, 21-karat recorded EGP 776, while the gold ounce price decreased in the global stock exchange to record $ 1768.
He added that 24-karat recorded EGP 892, and 18 –karat is at EGP 665, while the gold pound recorded EGP 6208.
