Gold prices decreased in the local markets during trading, Tuesday, in the light of the decline of an ounce price in the global stock exchange to recording $1798, due to the rise in the dollar price and the strong expectations that the US Federal Reserve will raise interest rates by the end of this month.
Said Imbabi, Executive Director of the “I-Sagha” platform for gold and jewelry online trading , said that gold prices decreased in the local markets by about EGP 22 as the 21 karat gold recorded EGP 965.
He added, that the 24 karat gold recorded EGP1103, a gram of 18 karat gold recorded EGP827 pounds, a gram of 14 karat gold recorded EGP644.
