Gold Prices Decline, 21-Karat Records EGP 105

Gold prices declined in local markets during Thursday trading.

The decline was driven by the decrease of the ounce in the global stock exchange at the level of $1845 by 0.7% and affected by the recovery of the dollar and its rise by 0.3%, after hitting the lowest level in a month last Tuesday.

Said Imbabi, Executive Director of the “i-Sagha”, said that gold prices declined in the local markets, adding that the 21-karat gold recorded EGP 1055.

He also shared that the 24-karat gold reached EGP 1206, 18-karat recorded EGP 905, 14-karat gold is sold at EGP 704, and the gold pound recorded EGP 8440.
