Gold prices decline, 21-carat at EGP 758

Gold prices declined slightly in local markets during today’s trading, due to the decline in the ounce of gold price in the global stock exchange, and the rise of dollar price.

Amir Rezk, member of the Gold Division at the Chamber of Commerce in Cairo, said that gold prices dropped by about 3 pounds in the local market, 21-carat recorded EGP 758, while the gold ounce price increased in the global stock exchange to record $1728.

He added that 24-carat recorded EGP 866, and 18 –carat is at EGP 650, while the gold pound recorded EGP 6064.
