On Wednesday, gold Prices continued declining due to the fall of ounces prices in the world exchange markets. The prices of the ounces reached $ 1855 globally.
This decline is driven by the rise of the US dollar, in addition to the soon-to-be-announced US Federal Reserve’s decision of easing the latest economic measures.
The Head of the Gold Division at the Chamber of Commerce in Cairo Hani Milad said that gold prices fell by EGP 12 since the beginning of the week after declining by EGP 3 on Wednesday.
Therefore, 18-karat was traded at EGP 682, and 21-karat recorded EGP 796, while 24-karat was sold at EGP 910. Finally, the gold pound recorded EGP 6368.
