The average price of gold ounce reached $1800 in 2022, compared to $1799 in 2022, according to a report by Global Gold Council.
The average of the ounce of gold recorded $1877 in the first quarter, $1871 in the second one.
Meanwhile, it hit $1729 in the third quarter and $1726 in the final one of 2022.
The price of the gold ounce increased globally by 0.1%, $2, while the prices jumped by 110%, EGP 876, in 2022.
It is worth mentioning that the US Federal Reserve rose the interest rates seven times in 2022, including four successive times by 75 points, to range between 4.25% and 4.5% which is one of the strongest directions of increasing the interest rates since the eighties of the last century.
