Gold Prices Jump, 21-karat hits EGP 1450

Gold prices jumped domestically, on Saturday. The world markets did not witness any trading processes since it is a weekend.

However, yesterday, the gold ounces recorded $1754 following a slight decline in the dollar.

There are expectations that the US Federal Reserve would slow down any further increases in interest rates.

The member of the Gold Division at Cairo's Chamber of Commerce Amir Rizk said that gold prices jumped by EGP 15.

Rizk added that 21-karat hit EGP 1450. In addition, 24-karat recorded EGP 1657, 18-karat was estimated at EGP 1243, 14-karat was sold at EGP 967, and the gold pound reached EGP 11600.

On Thursday, gold prices increased by EGP 35 as 21-karat started the transaction at EGP 1400, and ended the trade processes at EGP 1435.

Regarding the gold ounce, it opened the transaction at $1752 and finalized it at $1754.
