Nowadays, there isn’t much time between the sounds of wedding music and the signing of porce papers.

SEE rounded up three of shortest Egypt's celebrity marriages of all time, because in Showbiz, sometimes you’re "Happily never after."

Ahmed Falawks and Hana Shiha

Actor Ahmed Falawks and actress Hana Shiha met when they filmed a cameo for their TV series, “Naseby w Kasmty” in 2017, and began dating in 2018. A year later, the two married in a ceremony in Cairo. A mere 14 months after that, Shiha filed for porce.

Ahmed Saad and  Somaya Elkhashab

Public feuds marked the brief marriage of singer Ahmed Saad and actress Somaya Elkhashab. After marrying him in 2018, Khahab accused Saad of physical abuse. Meanwhile, he claimed that the renowned actress stole money from him. The nasty porce ultimately ended with a 1 million L.E settlement award to Saad.

It's worth mentioning that actress Khashab and Saad met on the set of the social drama “Halal” in 2017.

Two years later, the two couples announced their split.

May Halmy and Mohamed Rashad

TV anchor May Halmy and young singer Mohamed Rashad married in June 2019. They filed for a separation about seven months into the union.

Helmy confirmed in August 2020 that she and her ex-husband Rashad were spending some time apart to "focus on themselves and their lives". However, Rashad filed for porce later that month, putting an end to fans' dreams of reconciliation.

Maybe their youthful ages had something to do with the porce: He was 25 and she was 24.
