Egyptian actor Ahmed Elawady was hospitalized days ago after collapsing while filming his upcoming series “Haq Arab”.
Although Elawady remains hospitalized and visits are prohibited, his health condition has witnessed a significant improvement.
In a statement on Tuesday, the series' director Ismail Farouk shared an update on Elawady, who assured him of his well-being and that his condition had improved significantly.
Mahmoud Hamdan, the writer of “Haq Arab”, announced Monday the news on Facebook without disclosing details of his condition or what led to his health emergency.
“Prayers for my brother Ahmed Elawady’s recovery. Ahmed is prohibited from visitors and has been admitted to the hospital two days ago due to the difficulty of his condition,” Hamdan said in a statement.
Elawady was born on December 12, 1985 in Cairo, Egypt. He is best known for his roles in The Thief of Baghdad, Mousa, and Horob Edterary. Elawady was discovered by actor Nour El-Sherif.
