German International University Accepts More Than 400 Students

Ambassador George Loy, Head of the Board of Trustees for the German International University for applied arts, announced that the number of applicants for the university throughout February 2020 reached 484 students, out of 2000 students who applied to very hard exams in the German University in Cairo.

Loy said he worked closely with the German University in Cairo, which is considered as a beacon of German-Egyptian relations in the field of higher education and scientific research, and an expression of German values in higher education and the German system.

He assured that every development in the university was due to the bright vision of Dr. Ashraf Mansour, who studied in Holm and had a dream. In the beginning no one believed in his dream, after his dream was realize there are other German International Universities for applied sciences that will be launched and will follow the footsteps of the German University in Cairo.

The Ambassador remarked that they were not expecting the rapid development that occurred, but they found great success in the application of students.

This is the first batch to join the university faculties, namely: - Engineering programs (Automotive Engineering - Energy - Manufacturing - Mechanics - Robotics) Faculty of Informatics and Computer Science programs (Applied Computer Science - Database Science - Software Engineering) and the College of Business Administration programs Small and Medium Enterprises - International Management - Tourism and Hospitality - Project and Construction Management - Ports and Airports Management - Logistics - Real Estate Management - Digital Marketing ", Faculty of Design with its programs" Fashion Design - Jewelry - Industrial Design ". This, on condition of passing an English language test and IQ test.
