The Russian company Gazprom said that it will supply 41.5 million cubic meters of gas to Europe via Ukraine on Sunday, which is the same amount that the company supplied yesterday.
The Russian state-owned VEP Bank stated in its forecasts on September 6 that natural gas exports via pipelines to the European Union may decline to 21 billion cubic meters this year, i.e. about two-thirds less than last year and less than one-sixth of the amount in 2021.
VIB expects total Russian natural gas exports this year to fall to 100 billion cubic meters from 131 billion cubic meters in 2022.
Reuters calculated that Gazprom's Kremlin-controlled exports to Europe via pipelines have fallen to about 17.7 billion cubic meters so far this year.
