The Vice President of Gambia Badara Joof, accompanied by Ambassador Hatem Saad Raslan, and the journalist Mohamed Kamal visited the Al-Sahaba Mousque in Sharm El-Sheikh.
Following the prayer, the vice president listened to a detailed explanation of the unique architectural design of the mosque, and what it offers from religious services, stressing that the design of the mosque is unique, which makes it an architectural masterpiece.
Joof also recorded a word of appreciation to President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, Egypt and its people, calling on God Almighty to protect the country and the Islamic nation from all harm.
He also took photo-souvenir in front of the mosque with the imam and the other citizens.
Al-Sahaba Mosque, in the old market area in Sharm El-Sheikh, is one of the most visited religious tourist attractions in the city. Most visitors, including tourists, political figures, and international public figures are keen to visit it during the COP27 conference in Sharm El-Sheikh.
