G7 Calls on Russia to Withdraw Forces from Ukraine without Preconditions

The Group of Seven ( G7) demanded that Russia should withdraw all its forces from Ukraine without preconditions.

In a statement reported by the "American Al-Hurra" channel today, Saturday, the Group of Seven called on Beijing to put pressure on Russia to stop its aggression against Ukraine.

The G7 countries confirmed that they want constructive and stable relations with China.

For his part, British Prime Minister Rishi Sunak announced that he expected the G7 countries to impose sanctions on Russia, in the wake of the British decision to tighten sanctions and ban the import of diamonds from Russia.

"We are in discussions with our allies and partners, and I expect that others will follow our example, as they have done over the last year," Sunak said in an interview with the British Sky News channel.

The British prime minister noted that sanctions work most effectively when they are imposed in concert with allies.
