French President Emmanuel Macron and his US counterpart Joe Biden agreed on the importance of "continuing cooperation with China to contribute in ending the conflict in Ukraine."
The French president stressed, during a phone call with his US counterpart, about his recent visit to China, his desire for the Europeans to continue "to rearm themselves to assume their responsibilities in sharing the security burdens across the Atlantic, a statement by the French presidency said on Thursday.
Noteworthy, White House spokeswoman Karine Jean-Pierre said that Washington does not have information about the peace initiatives launched by French President Emmanuel Macron regarding Ukraine, but it intends to get to know it.
