French TV Presenter Jean-Pierre Pernaut died after suffering from lung cancer for several months, his family announced on Wednesday.
Jean-Pierre Pernaut, who was known by his initials, JPP, held the position of chief One o’clock newspaper for 33 years.
From 1991 to 2010, he was the longtime presenter of Combien ça coûte ? (How much does that cost?), a monthly consumer program on TF1.
Pernaut was born in Amiens, Somme, on 8 April 1950. He married former Miss France Nathalie Marquay.
In 2005, he published his best-selling memoirs, Pour tout vous dire.... (To tell you everything... ).
