First Look for Khaled El Nabawy's “Risalat El Emam” Out

The first promo for Egyptian actor Khaled El Nabawy's Ramadan TV series “Risalat El Emam” was unveiled.

The series is a biography of Imam Al-Shafi’ee, who is one of the four great Imams of Sunni schools of law. He has been titled ‘Nasir al-Hadith’ which means “defender of hadith”.

Meanwhile, the cast features Nidal El Shafei, Arwa Gouda, Salma Abu Deif, Mohamed El Sharnouby, Khaled Anwar, and others.

The drama is scripted by a writing workshop under the supervision of Mohamed Hisham Obeya, directed by the Syrian Laith Hijo, and produced by the Media Hub production company.

It is worth noting that the artistic work is not El Nabawy's first time taking part in a historical project, as he starred in several TV productions, such as “Mamalik Al Nar” (2019), “Wahet El Ghoroub” (2017), "Hadith Alsabah Wa Almasaa" (2001), and "Bawabat Al Halawani" (1992).

He also appeared in the films "Kingdom of Heaven" (2005), “Al Maseer” (1997), and “Al Mohager” (1994).
