Finance Ministry Issues Draft Budget 2019/2020

CAIRO, Nov. 14 (SEE)- The Ministry of Finance issued on Wednesday the 2019/2020 fiscal budget draft.

The draft aims to develop basic sectors, including health, education, social housing, public transportation, drinking water, sanitation, as well as the development of slums.

It also aims to conclude mega development projects including the 1.5 million feddans project, the roads network project, logistics areas, and the New Administrative Capital.

The new budget will provide effective policies that aim at developing social security, improve food and financial subsidy programs.

Its main priorities will be adopting comprehensive health insurance, upgrading hospitals and updating assistance programs, including school feeding and support for dependent women arrangements.

The upgrading of railways and metro is also among the budgets agenda.
