Finance Minister Ahmed Kouchouk affirmed that Egypt has the capacity to meet its needs and that there is no crisis in this regard, especially given the diverse sources and binding agreements for our needs in the electricity sector and for petroleum products.
This came during a meeting of the Industry Committee in the House of Representatives, chaired by Engineer Ahmed Bahaa Shalaby, on Sunday.
Kouchouk added that no problems have been observed in the availability of basic commodities, and that they are coordinating with the Ministry of Supply and other ministries. He stated that goods and products are readily available and their entry and exit are easy.
He continued: The state has spared no effort in providing goods and products, and we have complete availability. There is no problem with the only crisis, which is the situation in the region and what is happening there.
