Production began on Egyptian singer-actor Tamer Hosny's new film "Tag".
The film is scripted by Hosny and reunites him with director Sara Wafik, who helmed his 2021 film "Mesh Ana".
"Tag" also witness the acclaimed singer reteaming with actress Mai Omar after they first worked together in the 2017 film "Tisbah ala Khair".
Hosny was last seen in the romantic comedy film "Bahabek", starring Hannah El Zahed.
On the other hand, Hosny is working on a new album, which is set to be released in the summer.
The acclaimed singer's latest album "Aashaangy" debuted in July 2022.
Hosny, born on August 16, 1977, began his career when renowned TV presenter Salma Al Shamaa gave him his lifetime opportunity to perform at the Cairo Opera House.
During his performance, he worked alongside other rising talents including, Sherine Mohamed Abdel-Wahab; the performance was attended by renowned producer Nasr Mahrous.
Ever since, Hosny worked closely with Mahrous and released his first album, which consequently achieved great success and opened the gates of stardom and fame, not only in singing but also in the entertainment industry.
He made his acting debut in the 2004 film “Halet Hob”, co-starring Hany Salama, Hend Sabry, and others.
Hosny is known for singing “Kol Mara”, “Bent El Eh” and “Aktar Haga”, and for his roles in films such as “Omar and Salma” and “Captin Hema”.
The musician performed many shows in Egypt and other Arab countries, including Morocco, Tunisia, Lebanon, Dubai, and Jordan.
