Film “Abu Saddam” Gets Release Date

The release date for Egyptian actor, Mohamed Mamdouh's new film “Abu Saddam” has been revealed.

The film is set to be theatrically released on December 22.

It was premiered last Tuesday in the official competition in the 43rd edition of the Cairo International Film Festival, which is currently taking place at the Cairo Opera House.

“Abu Saddam” marks Mamdouh's first leading role in a film.

It also stars Sayed Ragab and Ahmed Dash. The film is scripted by Mahmoud Ezzat and directed by Nadine Khan.

The film centers around a 40-year-old experienced truck driver Abu Saddam getting a transportation mission on the North Coast road after he stopped working for years, who is unemployed due to his severe temperament.

He decides that he wants to complete his mission perfectly to complement his working reputation but he faces a small situation on the road and things get out of control.
