US Under Secretary of State for Political Affairs, Wendy Sherman warns, during the last meeting of the United Nations Security Council (UNSC) that Russia’s President started the war in Ukraine.
Sherman stressed that war caused a food crisis threatening the world nowadays, urging the Russian leader to work seriously to stop that war soon.
She indicated that Putin claims the responsibility for the war and its fallouts on food security in the world.
On his part, France’s deputy Nicolas de Riviere pointed out that Russia’s aggression on Ukraine worsens the danger of famine across the globe.
He revealed that populations of poor countries are expected to be hit badly by the imminent food crisis.
De Riviere added that Russia is attempting to make the world believe that sanctions against it lead to an imbalance in food security all over the world.
