European Union's High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy/Vice President of the European Commission, Kaja Kallas, is traveling to Riyadh.
The Riyadh meeting follows the Quint meetings held on January 9-10 and in Aqaba on December 14, focusing on developments in Syria after the fall of Bashar al-Assad's regime.
The meeting will continue coordinating efforts to assist Syria in addressing the immense challenges faced by the Syrian Interim Government and the Syrian society in the post-Assad phase.
The European Union will emphasize the importance of effective and inclusive governance, minority protection, rule of law, accountability, justice, and Syria's territorial integrity as fundamental conditions for reconciliation and sustainable peace in the country.
