EU Commissioner for Migration to Visit Egypt on Monday

The EU Commissioner for Migration, Home Affairs, and Citizenship Ylva Johansson will pay a visit to Egypt on Monday, November 15.

Johansson will participate in a high-level migration dialogue, in addition to having several meetings with senior Egyptian officials.

Moreover, the EU Commissioner will hold talks with representatives from civil society and international organizations.

She will exchange points of view in migration-related issues and challenges in short and long temporal scopes.

The forthcoming visit is part of the Commission's partnership approach under the New Pact on Migration and Asylum.
