EU Commissioner Says Committed to Supporting Egypt's Response to Coronavirus

The European Union Commissioner for Neighborhood and Enlargement, Oliver Varhely, reiterated the European Union's commitment to support the Egyptian response to the Coronavirus (Covid 19), and to reduce the impact of the pandemic on daily life.

This came in a press statement by the European Union delegation in Cairo today, Saturday, on the occasion of the European Commissioner's visit to Cairo, which will start tomorrow (Sunday), and will last for two days; he will participate in the "Cairo Water Week".

The European Union delegation stated that the Commissioner for Neighborhood will meet - during the visit - with a number of ministers in the government, business community and civil society.

They will highlight the importance attached by the European Union to Partnership between the European Union and Egypt.
