Egypt’s Ministry of Endowments announced that at least 77 mosques will be opened today, Friday.

The ministry plans to open 314 mosques during September and October, 2020.

The ministry stressed that these openings represent the most effective response to the evil groups that accuse Egypt of demolishing the mosques, which is completely baseless.

The number of new mosques that have been built in six years exceeded 1,200 ones, while 3,600 mosques have been renovated and reconstructed, at a financial cost of more than 3 billion pounds.

Dr. Muhammad Mukhtar Gumaa, Minister of Endowments, said that the ministry exerted strenuous efforts during the era of President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, to build and re-construct  mosques.
