The global Hope Giver campaign as an international charity partner, with the presence of it's CEO & Founder Anwar Elkamony, attended the Better World Fund events during the 80th Edition of the Venice Film Festival.
Elkamony, an Egyptian international tennis player and icon of the fight against cancer, presented a prestigious Award to Dr. Solanges Vivens, honoring her commitment to Women's Empowerment, especially for her book "Girls Can Move the Mountains" at the Better World Fund Gala Night in La Misericordia di Venezia.
He also thanked the President of the Better World Fund Manuel Collas de la Roche and his esteemed team for the kind invitation, warm welcome, and great event organization.
This esteemed event was graced by the presence of distinguished guests from around the globe, all gathered in the name of philanthropy and positive change.
The ceremony was attended by Elizabeth Moreno, President of the Technology Foundation and former French Minister responsible for gender equality, diversity and equal opportunities, Isabelle Huppert, Euzhan Palcy, Jeremy Piven, Kiera Chaplin, Tarina Patel, Nadia Fares, Rossi De Palma, Yasmine Samderelli, Valentina Castellani, Dr. Solanges Vivens, Karine Gros, and Lorène Ferrandès.
During his speech, Elkamony spoke about how "hope" played a major role in his return to sports professionally as he became the only athlete in the world to return to professional sports after a bone marrow transplant after 7 years of illness.
The idea of the campaign was Inspired by his story with illness and the role of the campaign and its support for women’s empowerment.
