Elissa is celebrating the end of the escalating hostilities in Lebanon with the release of new music.

The Lebanese superstar shared on Instagram a glimpse of the track that shows an elderly woman on her balcony throwing a piece of cloth that reads: “Your love is like Beirut,” which may be the title of the song.

“A tale of love, emotions, charm and never ending stories… Soon….," she captioned.

In May, Elissa dropped her 13th album, "Ana Sekketen" on digital music platforms.

The record consists of 12 tracks including the songs "Kello Wahem", "Sekketen", and "Batmayel Ala El Beat". It is produced by the pop star's E-Records music production company and Rotana.

In the album, she cooperated with a large number of poets and composers, including Tamer Ashour and Marwan Khoury.

Born on October 27, 1972, Elissa has been the highest-selling female Middle Eastern artist since 2005. She sold over 30 million albums worldwide.

In 2005, she became the first Lebanese singer to be awarded the World Music Award for Best Selling Middle Eastern Artist, an award that she earned once again in 2006 and 2010.

The singer is often referred to as “Maliket El Ehsas” (Queen of Emotions) by fans and the media.

Elissa’s artistic journey began in 1992 when she won the silver medal in the Lebanese music competition “Studio El Fan”.

The singer’s debut studio album, “Baddy Doub” (I Want to Melt), was released by EMI Music Arabia in 1999.
