El-Feki: We Aim to Strengthen State’s Identity through Ancient Egyptian Achievements

Dr. Mostafa El-Feki, the BA Director, reported that the aim of the archeological courses program is to educate youth about the ancient Egyptian history and raise the archaeological awareness among school and university students, in addition to emphasizing the Egyptian identity through the great achievements made by ancient Egyptians in all fields.

The BA through Center for Egyptology, will offer several specialized archaeological courses for young people who are interesting in the Egyptian state.

The course includes ancient Egyptian times, from pre-dynastic times to later, then Greco-Roman, Coptic, Islamic and modern times.

Noteworthy, the center establishment as well as the world archaeologist Dr. Zahi Hawass, has played a great role in the world through public lectures and writings that have influenced human and cultural heritage for more than half a century.

In addition, this center aspires to be a research, educational and training center on the local, Arab and international levels, capable of spreading cultural heritage among children, youth and all society segments.

Furthermore, it aims to attract expertise in the archeology and cultural heritage field, conducting many archaeological, scientific events and specialized courses as well as research grants that serve scientific research and enrich archaeological works.
