Egypt’s Ministry of Health prepares to open centers over the coming days to vaccinate those who want to travel abroad against the Coronavirus (known also as COVID-19), according to Mohamed Abdel Fattah, Head of the Central Directorate of Preventative Affairs.

Those who want to travel abroad should bring their passport, the visa or the ticket of flight to be vaccinated with the vaccine required by the country where he travels ahead of getting the authorized certificate of vaccination.

Traveling to the United States of America or Europe requires vaccination with the anti-corona vaccines made by Pfizer, Moderna, AstraZeneca, or Johnson & Johnson.

It is scheduled that Egypt will receive 25 million doses among 300 million doses offered by the African Union (AU).

But the delivery of those doses is expected to be postponed for another year.

The AU is expected to deliver the first batch consisting of six million doses of Johnson & Johnson next week; meanwhile, 45 African countries will get their first batch of vaccines by the end of August.
