Egypt’s Jewellers Conference Issues 7 Recommendations

Egypt’s Jewellers Conference Issued seven Recommendations at the end of its activities under the theme of “Financial inclusion and the Role of Digital Transformation in Improving the Gold Sector in New Republic.”

The recommendations included stressing on the importance of activating digital transformation and financial inclusion, as one of the national characteristics of the new republic.

In addition, the participants stressed the neccisaty of sheding light on the importance of depending on E-payment ways, in addition to E-wallets.

Moreover, the conference also recommended ending all obstacles to retailers' abilities to accept E-payment such as the high fees of transfers by counting on the value of gold products.

It also asserted the necessity of activating E-receipts in the upcoming period, and examine the obstacles of the traders to depend on those kind of E-operations.

The recommendations of the conference included the need of solving the issues of taxes, and establishing a fair process of calculating them, alongside, the importance of founding a database dedicated to working women in the gold and jewelry sector.

Therefore, it affirmed the importance of gold sector's contribution to the state's mega projects, and development programs.

It is worthy to mention that a number of finest of gold experts discussed the importance of digital transformation and financial inclusion in the new republic during the third edition of Egypt's Jewlleries Conference organized by Isagha.
