 Egypt's Exports of Home Appliances Increase  to $ 1.5 Billion  during   First 5 Months of 2022

The Export Council for Engineering Industries announced that Egypt's exports during the period from January to the end of May 2022 increased by 31%, which amounted to $1.5 billion, compared to $1.185 billion during the same period last year.

The monthly report of the Export Council stated that engineering exports increased by 25% in May 2022 compared to the same month in 2021, reaching $264.7 million in May 2022 compared to $211.7 million in May 2021.

The report revealed that the most important sectors whose exports increased during the period from January to the end of May 2022 compared to the same period in 2021 are, electrical appliances recorded an increase of 52%, cables achieved 81% growth, car components recorded an increase of 6.1%, household appliances achieved 14%, and transportation achieved An increase of 5% and metals recorded 72%.
